A short course on the history of Liverpool Football Club. The history is lengthy and illustrious, spanning more than a century. The Everton Football Club, which was playing at Anfield Stadium, was the club’s primary adversary when it was first established in 1892. Following a disagreement between the Everton board of directors and stadium owner John Houlding. Liverpool FC was established. After the Football Association granted the club official recognition in 1893. They started competing in the Second Division.
Liverpool FC has witnessed a myriad of highs and lows throughout its history. Along with both accomplishments and disappointments on the field. The club experienced a series of promotions and relegations in its early years. But by the 1960s, Liverpool FC had established itself as a formidable presence in English football. Following their first league title win in 1963-64, the squad clinched an additional four titles in the next decade.
